New To Diving?

Whether you are a complete beginner, or if you have tried diving on holiday, or even if you have already qualified with another diving organisation ... Then UPSAC has a solution for you. Our Ocean diver course will aim to get you in the water and diving by the new year.

At the start of the academic year we run a series of try dive sessions or a suck it and see…. If you have never tried then please see us at the freshers fair and book in for a session or contact us via e-mail

UPSAC offers a variety of diving to suit all levels and interests, from Marine life through to wreck and marine archaeology. We have someone in the club already interested in your direction.

Our training takes place over the winter months with our unpaid professional instructors who give up their time for free, with pool training starting at the beginning of the Winter term, with the aim of starting open water training for the brave just before Christmas.

Since 2007 we have been running a Warm water training trip to the canary Islands every two years, should you not wish to enter the cooler British waters until later in the year. Full details will be available soon.
